    Check you're earth's.

BUT Davo, OzKat, Deano, Mundy or Gix are the best for the GSXR's, especially 7/11's.

Mate, how long since it ran? A month you say? You have tried bumping it haven't you? Trust me, sometimes that's all it takes. I can leave mine in the garage for a month or two and it's the only way it will start. Fuck knows what it is, but it's just a trait. Supercharger has the same with his. I reckon you'll also find a drained cell battery happening there. Check the battery hasn't leaked in the flip. Oh, and welcome aboard mate.

Mate i see you are in vic were abouts?

i assume you have checked the basics

    spark - you mentioned that
FRESH fuel (that shit goes stale quick)

how are you checking the spark?
if you are putting a spare plug on one of the leads then i would replace the lot with new plugs.

I had the same problem with my bike when i took it for RWC i rode it the day before and the next day it wouldn't start so the mechanic put fresh fuel and a set of plugs in it and she started first go.

I'm assuming that you've had the tank off and checked the multipin connectors haven't come adrift? My bike ['88 1100]developed a similar problem[hadn't flipped it though!]The main power cable to the coils had a bad connection in the connector, and the bike would just stop, then fire up again. It finally came to a complete stop [not far from home fortunately], and I cleaned and squeezed the female connection slightly, and it's been reliable ever since.
It may not be your problem, but if you have the same loom as me, those connections get a fairly hard time ,squashed up in front of the tank, you never know.....

put a multimeter accross the batery terminals

    check voltage and record it

start bike and check voltage .. record..

the motor will turn over with about 8 volts but the ignition needs over 10 to work properly.....anything under about 10 1/2 and ya can get issues....

charge the battery and see how that goes ... and as already said ...check the fluid level

It's more than possible that you may have a minor short ... combine that with leaving it for a while and it don't take much ..... I learned that the hard way on my '89 1216
