    CBR naked

I'm not sure if this picture will work, much hassling to get the code into place..
This is the bike we were trying to find, before some prick did the site in.....scanned from AMCN,[thanx guys] June 2005
The article says [from AMCN's European sources] the bike ,"will not take final production form until 2006, and will probably be built at Honda's European facility", and apparently this means it can be bought here too.
The bike will utilise a " full power CBR1000RR powerplant, and not one 're-tuned' for more midrange"..
Cheers mate, ....it's not like I'm a Honda fan at all, but this bike looks like a 'factory fighter',[can there be such a thing?] if I ever saw one!

Benz - just email them to me for now. I've nearly fixed the upload thing up. I'll do it manually for now.

    No Pic's just X

Your not on about the new 1000F are you ?

    No USD forks,
    Ugly CB500 style fairing,
    No 4 into 1,
Power capped from 170bhp to 97bhp! Not sure if this is
in all markets or just US? EU? OZ? My Mrs 600 Hornet had as
much power as that, with better looks and less weight.
Hardly a competitor for the Fazer, Z1000 and Bandit.

    HONDA Says......

For an exhilarating ride you need the new CBF1000. Great for all riders, its new “no frills” chassis projects strength and reliability. Additional 2006 features include a sophisticated, integrated instrument panel and an improved three- position seat. This bike is serious fun.

    PERFORMANCE BIKES Magazine Says......
    Honda's CB1000F is a 97bhp, half faired loser.
Yes it'll be cheap (£6000). Yes, its got ABS and
yes thats a CBR1000RR motor in there. But how can you
call yourself engineers and lose 73bhp from one of the
best modern engines? Thats more than careless Honda, its
verging on incompetent. Did the big H learn nothing
from the dismal sales of the flaccid Hornet 900?

    Tony,
I have the issue of AMCN from June 2005 right in front of me, and the bike on the front cover is NOT that pedestrian offering ,but a 'factory fighter', with USD's, underseat exhaust, full power cbr1000rr motor.[8D]
The article on page 4 says the bike will take final production form this year, in Honda's European factories.
I emailed the scanned magazine photos to Gix, I'm guessing you'll see what I mean soon......

    Great
As I posted a month a go, I couldnt belive Honda were going to
release the vervion I had seen unless they had something else
that they were keeping quiet. Your version sounds better, a full power unfaired Blade ? [8D]

    THATS MORE LIKE IT !
Something to give the Bandit / Fazer / Z1000 and even their
own hornet a good kick in the nuts
lets hope its as good as it seem,
    lets hope it sells well,
THEN maybe they will all start building Full Power Nakeds
with High Spec frames and suspension.

    Fingers Crossed
    (who said "B-King")
