WTB-Damaged or wrecked bike or unfinished project

    Oi All,
I'm interested in a 1980 & up donor for a custom project. Condition of frame & bodywork not important as I will be building my own frame for it. Must be within a few hours drive of Sydney. Must have a decent engine. I know the regular places to buy donors but thought I'd try here first.Jap or Brit is OK. Mail me with what you have & what you want. Also after a CB750 K series motor for a clubmates new bike.

Looks like I have an 04' GSXR750 with enough of the right parts intact to play with. I will have 2 of my clubmates to help out on this one including an car mechanic that is an EFI specialist to play the rerouted plenum chamber & inlet tracts with boost fans.... Long, low and lean....Not your average custom by any stretch....

Heres the donor. We'll be assessing it first before going nuts with the tube bender & Mig Welder.... Long , low and lean are the guidelines for this one.

Wow Exben. Small world eh? The front rim has a fair sized dent in it but mostly the good bits are still there. Luckily, a clubmate has the equipment to roll rims straight so if it isn't too far gone it will be cool. The photo's at M/C Disposals luckily looked worse than the damage really was so the bike had been there for a while and the insurance company accepted my offer. I was going up the coast for a few days starting tomorrow but now I'll be at home in the garage taking measurements and building a new frame jig specifically for this bike. Any additional info you can supply me on the bike would be appreciated and I'll post piccy's every few months to show what us Chopper Blokes do to a modern sportsbike.....
