cam change
Any body have any know how on the ins and outs of cam changes?
Is a regrind or change of cams a viable option for moving the characteristics of the engine down the scale a bit? Can the lowdown be improved at the expense of top end in a 750 (89' K model in my case) by cam change and is there more to the change needed than just the profile of the cam, like fuelling requirements?Any help much appreciated.

Tyre destroying, mad bastard menace
and if you contact the northern land council they can probably get you some quality models in exchange for a cask of moselle so you can use your cams.

[)]well generally people try build the motor for more midrange/top end , an arnt to worried about small sacrifices off the bottom end, but you want more bottom end [?],so.. go the 7/11 ... reprofiled /or replacment cams will change the power charteristics of the motor , but it wont stop just there, you may need to rejet or a ignition advancer an a desent 4 into 2 into 1 ,an after market air filter also, all these will release more power, but the best way to get better bottom end stomp is to increse displacment [^] or turn to the moselle , [xx(]
