i got this today in the mail from US ebay $45au inc postage 2004 GSXR 1000 rear shock done about 400 miles and by looking at it, it really has done about 400 miles not a mark or a scratch. bargins are to be found. anyway ill post full details inc pics of installing this shock in a 89 frame when i do it

Nice one mate! Can't wait to see her in and a story! Good cheap mod and will be interesting to see what needs to be done with the linkages and mounting points.

I need help by the way! I need a new exhaust valve for a 91-92 GSXR-1127 (Part no. 12912-41C00) and 16 x retainers (12931-41C00). The exhaust valve they got in was the wrong one, turns out I've got later sytle heads (with shims) on a early 1127 bottom. Could be when they were changing over, or someone put them on when the engine was built?

Anyway sorry about the hijack mate, just this will set my project time back 3 weeks or so...!
