The Bandit in 2000, before i got my oily mits over her
The start of the moddin'
TL1000r front end, Acerbis, solo seat converter and a bit of a polish up
Out came the engine for a freshen up inside
And thats were it all started [)] [)]
So i gets the bug to powdercoat the frame as the standard colour was a bit gay and the previous paint job was shite, so out came the angle grinder to relieve it of the subframe and then i spotted this swingarm that i thought would look nice [8D]
Ally subframe on and a top end rebuild
The bike's finished and at its first show with the S.E.S mob
2nd on the left is Spart and im next to him giving the salute
Another build came more engine mods, underslung can, binned the clocks and bug eyes and back to the Acerbis
Then in the winter the bug came again, engine out for 1216, big head, cams, clutch.new rear shoch and the subframe gets modded to hold the battery under the hump and then off to the powdercoaters with the swingarm
Then came the paint and twin spots for that Slabby vibe.. this as always been a love/hate thang. As most folks prefered my bike in all black with the Acerbis [:I]
Its amazing how a paint job radically changes the attitude of the bike [?]
One off headers and modded CBR6 can,a polish up and red calipers to match the shock and new paint.......TART
Different exhaust mocked up [V] using a Devil baffled link pipe, one off comfy gel seat, custom loom, a set of thug yokes Acewell speedo/tacho and fat bars, and playing about with different routes for the breather pipes routes [:I]
Binned the spots and modded an Acerbis to accomodate the speedo, finalized the catch tank and went back to the CBR can....
This years mods... another top yoke and some TL clip ons mocked up, and back to frame mounted spots for that cafe look
Me like alot.... good fucking job!

And that's the version of the bandit I like[^]
The tanks off to the painters , im going all black again[8D]. Im waiting on some Vortex clip ons, Brembo radial master cylinders and some mini elipsoid spots that are gonna be mounted vertically on the headstock mounts like my mate Caveys.New SV 1000 r/h switch gear and a Q/A throttle on order. All the lines and cables need to be around 100mm shorter now FFS but i will know for sure when its all mocked up with the real parts
I'll get the camera out as and when they all get fitted
