I'll be leaving here (Rocky) early thursday morning and am tossing up wether to ride as far as I can in the daylight or pulling up somewhere just south of Brisvegas for the night and finishing the run to macksville on the friday.
k6 why not crash at one of our houses, im just off the highway north end of the gold coast and at a guess we will be all leaving friday morning sometime so youll do that stretch with us im sure

I think I've managed to to talk my cousin into going hehe, even though he's just left the RAAF as a F111 instructor I know he and his wife don't have a clue what they are in for, please go easy on them.
So far it sounds like will be going with the crowd meeting at Macas Narang Friday morning, and hope to pick up a few on the way.

I'm thinking departure sometime around 8.00-8.30am brissy time either Mt Linsay hwy or Narang via UKI , both will get us to Kyogle for smoko. Staying inland the rest of the way.

Okay, so there is the plan.
Meeting at Nerang Maccas Friday, 30 March, 7.00am. Yes that's right 7.00am. Fuel up and leave by 7.30am.
We have to get up this early and leave as Google (even though their times are questionable) claims it is a little over 7 hours.
Plus the fact that as soon as we hit the boarder we lose an hour. Add some fuel and some eats and a couple of interesting places to stretch your legs and there is at least another hour gone.
So all of a sudden 7.30am turns into 4.30pm at the earliest at Macksville. Any later and there will be no beer left !

Anyone that wants to attend the ride down it would be helpful if you could stick up your name up here.
Anybody and everybody is welcome, including any new members, fresh faces are always welcome and will add to the event - for the full ride or even it is just part of the way.
I will be taking puncture repair kit and limited tools (I will not be repairing blow up dolls at 2am in the morning).

the star is just around the corner from the Nambucca hotel ,about 350 metres to be exact,if we need more motor bike parking ,my work shop is avaliable
