So am I right in thinking that this guys arm just rips off if he crashes??
He shows it clipping in like an air connection and it snaps on , there doesn't seem to be any quick release or disconnect.
And what is the piece of sting for that runs from hand to hand?? its jammed in the socket part?

The string is the disconnect.
watch it from the start again damo and watch him clip in .
as his connector goes into right hand bar end he places a string loop over it and then shows you how it realeses !
there is a lever set up on it and as the string on his left hand glove is attached when his left hand comes away from bars the string pulls on the lever in which the coupling is realesed , very smart !
He seems to have a problem with the front brake.
