Yea, well there'll be none of that going on.
Yeah, i had to do the same, so i'd have enough room for my gear. But the other half wasn't to keen to sit on the back for the 5-6 odd hours it will take to ride there, so mission accomplished!!Quote:

Fuck have I got problems....
....But the "minister for everything" don't camp, sooooo..... I'll be extra sweet-talking her for me to do a solo ride and at least one night stay.....
I'm working on it......
Ahhh, the Minister denied all knowledge of me telling her about it a few weeks ago.... have to start all over again, but I think I might be right yet.....
Still working on it....
What if one wishes to attend the AFR but does not wish to partake in the time trials? Are they still required to sign the indemnity forms? And what safety gear would need to be worn if one was to run their bike in the TT's? Full leathers etc? Ta.
ahh reg i see..like me the bills gone for its second reading ....but ive got an ace up my sleeve in the form of "the new car" which will need a"good long run" and the fact that im a'back seat driver' these clasues recently added have swung it my way i reckon
thats a point sick mate can i get away with 2 piece leathers ?
There's a couple of us leaving from bris southside early Sat morn keen to hook up with some other 'sensible?' hooligans
Ok lads, here it is basically:
Riding a motorcycle during this time trial event on an open airstrip is a dangerous sport.
The participant is fully responsible for their own actions at all times during the event.
The participant will not act in a reckless or irresponsible manner at any time during the event.
Motor vehicle insurance is not valid during the event. Any and all damage caused by the participant to any vehicle, property or participant/event staff member will be wholly the participants responsibility.
The participant shall not be entitled to substitute, nominate or allow another rider to ride in any event, joyride or take the place of the participant at any time during this event.
The participant is under control of the event staff at all times during the event and will follow their direction in all matters at all times during the event.
If, for any reason, the participant is directed to evacuate from the airstrip boundaries by any event staff member they will do so in a calm and expeditious manner as demonstrated by event staff on the day.
ALL participants will have a zero blood alcohol level at all times during the event.
There is to be no alcohol consumed at any time by participants during time trial or stunt events. Random alcohol breath tests will be carried out during the event by event staff. All participants will submit to an alcohol breath test.
All motorcycles participating in this event must be in a safe and serviceable condition. This includes, but is not limited to, no fluid leaks of any sort, correct chain tension, serviceable tyres, and no loose or dangerous items. Event staff will conduct random inspections during the event and any motorcycle found to be unsatisfactory will not be allowed to participate.
The participant acknowledges that they have had their vehicle serviced, repaired and checked by an appropriately qualified person who warrants that the vehicle is serviceable and in good condition to take part in this event.
All participants are to wear appropriate safety equipment including a full-face safety helmet, leather motorcycle jacket, motorcycle gloves, leather motorcycle trousers (Draggin type jeans are also acceptable), fully enclosed ankle-high boots with no loose laces.
This motor vehicle event will, at times, be noisy. Anyone with concerns about the level of noise should bring earplugs/earmuffs.
There will be minimal shade available for the duration of the event. AUSFR recommends that all participants bring a minimum of a broad-brimmed hat and plenty of sunscreen.
The participant shall be responsible for the conduct, behaviour and actions of all of the participants guests.
This contract must be signed before acceptance to the event will be considered.
Signature of this contract does not guarantee acceptance to the event.
There will be no refund of fees paid for any reason.
Failure to comply with any of the above points will result in my being removed from the premises immediately.
Decisions made by event staff are final. No discussion will be entered into.
The participant hereby releases AUSFR, its stewards, staff and agents from and against all claims for, expenses, legal costs, personal injury, damage and injury to personal property and theft of personal property and all other claims, and the participant hereby indemnifies AUSFR from and against all amounts claimed by the participant, their executives, administrators and all other third parties claimed on the participants behalf.
This agreement shall bind the participant, their executing administrators and assigns any and all third party claims to the participant.
Security of personal possesions / belongings is the responsibility of the individual within all areas of the event including the main airfield and camping areas. The organisers hold no responsibility for any theft from anywhere on the site.
Sickboy - the signing is for everybody even if you don't do time trilas as it requires that NOBODY is pissed on the track or endangering others - plus a few other things listed there.
Jim - see above "full-face safety helmet, leather motorcycle jacket, motorcycle gloves, leather motorcycle trousers (Draggin type jeans are also acceptable), fully enclosed ankle-high boots with no loose laces."
Danger750 - I'll be down there a few days early and I know some others are leaving on Friday. Try starting a topic in the SE QLD meeting and events (http://www.streetfighters.com.au/for...sp?FORUM_ID=17) titled something like "Brisbane riders leaving on Saturday morning for AFR" or similar to get the ride sorted. Oh, and by the way, welcome aboard.
Ta Si ive got all that gear no sweat.... seems like a fairly straightforward usual release form..and you know me i dont drink ......
Si, im fine with almost all of that.
Point A.... Dont have leather jeans. Not even when I run at WillowBank.
But thinking about it, perhaps I should buy some though.
So if thats the Rule, i'll make the effort.
More important..
Point B.... Dont make me sleep in f*cking tent !!! PLEASE !!!;):D
Point B is a common call but I don't think we're having much luck with it.....
Well, that has relegated me to the ranks of "spectator"...:DQuote:

I think the form will settle all arguements.

Si, payed last week as well.
Hey Si,

Hi guys. All ticket details have been listed and numbered. I will send the indemnity forms and itinery plus directions via an email soon, but the main list will be on the gate where you will pick up your weekend wristband for access to all areas.
Sounds good. less chance of me loosing them between here and there that way!!!

i see no rule that prevents me wearing my "PHANTOM" suit in the burnout contest.
...and if a chic drives by my tent in a VW, i'll just pull her out and fuck her.No point burnin the car, then she'd need a lift home.
Si, $240 sent.
Tony and Sasha.
