My race car is powered by a GSXR 1100 which sounds sweet if I say so myself.
You're making the other drivers look very slow.............
I do like the Escort and Cortina trying to keep up at the end and losing it in the corner. That Gixer motor kicks all their arses pretty badly hey! Nice.
For those after more details on my JMW look here

It is a little bit out of date.
I am always changes bits and pieces.
Engine started as a 1052J motor. Now 1196.
Some of the mods:
- modified head (std valves), modifed ports, modified chambers
- wiesco pistons
- CR = 13:1
- window ports added to base of block
- block skimmed to reduce deck heigth and improve squish
- 5 speed box (I did try a 6 speed but it broke)
- Standard clutch but heavier springs
- standard valve springs and cams (same as 750J cams)
- [A modified 750J head in preparation, hence looking for some other pistons]
- RS40 flatslide carbs
- custom exhaust
Mine arrived on Friday, all up cost me twenty bucks for both camera and 4G card delivered, so I'm pretty impressed with the quality at that price. I still need to figure out how to change the date though.

I've read somewhere how to change the date. Did you get an instruction disc with yours Rod?
Nah mate, no disc just the camera and cable, They have instructions on the ebay item description, but it was pretty vague.
Where is the root of the MicroSD card?
To set the date/time of the device, which is used to timestamp media recordings, create a text file in the root of the MicroSD card with a file name of TAG.TXT. Open the file and add the following three lines:
[date]
2009/10/22
03:45:00
Replace the date and time above with the values you want. Save the file. Turn the device off, then back on to reset the clock based on the text file.
How did you mount it on the bike?
I bought some stick on velcro from bunning. Works a treat.
You made me dizzy on the first roundabout.
Ah ok, cool. Ordered one last night, gonna see how it goes and might grab a couple more if they work well. For 10 bux each you chuck one on the front, tail, fender, fucken everywhere.Quote:

Yeah I was thinking if you lose one just buy another. I rode up Maquarie pass with the camera velcroed on the oggy Knob and it didn't look like moving, however stupid me had the camera on it's side so ya reckon that round about made you dizzy Blowie? You should see that footage. I ended up putting the lap top on it's side also so I could watch it.Quote:

I'm thinking I might find some sort of bar clamp with a flat top and velcro it there, otherwise the only decent spot on my bike facing forward would be the fuel filler.Quote:

Another spot I reckon that would be cool is on the tail like they do on Rossi's bike for the Moto GP coverage.
Hi Guys,
The velro mounting was what I used successfully on my race car.
Try a bit of Velcro on the padding inside your helmet.
With a bit of a playing around, you can get some good video through the visor. You can even give a running comentary as you go.
You can also mount it on the bars facing back at you.
Being so small you can mount them in some interesting spots and can get some really cool video.
Have fun.
Peter.
Has anyone's camera stopped working yet?
I velcro'd them to my brake reseviour, and it was alittle dodgy coz of the slight angle,it was alot better stuck in the middle of the front mudguard.
And another thing, those micro sd cards that come with these cams are fairly dodgy.
I know with my key chain camera, picture and playback was heaps better with a decent branded micro card in it.
You can get 32gb MicroSDHC cards now, they are exxy though (a Sandisk one will set you back ~$150 off eBay).
