Chizzo's mate.. lol. nah I bought them to suit 02-03 R1, had to drill out clutch pivot point 2mm more to take the 10mm bush and good as gold, fit great had to tighten the bolts up and a dab of loctite but very happy with em..Quote:

If they are the same as the ones i bought you will have to do some mods to them mate. I machined up a new bush for the clutch lever, but be sure to check the brake lever. Press the brake a few times, then try moving the bike. Mine had an issue and the brakes were slightly pressed all the time. I had to file down the radius which is in contact with the hydraulic piston till it worked well. Nothing too difficult, but its a cunt if you don't do it
Ahhh yes I thought it was doing that. and yep it is touching the piston a little too much.. the clutch was ok it had an 8mm hole which didnt suit my 6mm bolt so I drilled lever out 2mm to take my old bush and all good. cheers Wack..
Those Chizzos like good for the price, there seems to be few guys buying them lately. Do you think it would be worth creating a thread showing the mods you had to do for them to work correctly? I think BanditRod had to do some modifications to his also?
Thats a top idea mate, I might do that..
Gold Chain came in the mail.. so fitted it..

Got some Pro Bolt stainless and alloy goodies today.. I love me bolts, I'm slowly replacing all the bolts on the ol girl, little touches go a long way.
Only ones fitted so far, stainless rear caliper bolts and nipples.. hehe I said nipples.. otherwise nothing exciting..
Waiting on a set of billet rearsets from Race Supplies Direct in the UK, and a new headlight slightly resembling the Ducati Streetfighter, and the Spectacular Kelly has purchased me them CRG levers

Dragged her out of shed this arvo and scrubbed the crap out of 10 years worth of road grime, all over front engine, under and behind.. left nothing uncleaned.. Does any one know of a way to maybe give the dull grey areas a bit more life, like a spray I mean, without removing engine and painting??
http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/r...-10_154901.jpg
And took some other pics for the hell of it..

Kero cleans all!
the engine paint on my 1100 looks a lot better after i spray the motor with inox, then get a couple of clean rags and wipe it off it stays clean for weeks then when time to wash a little soft degressor, all clean, then recoat with inox,Quote:

loving your project, should never sold my 01, they make the best fighters, i think i might buy it back after seeing your build, something about the r1 with carbys, they are just exciting, i got a tuned 06 zx12r, 3000kms with full akro system PCIII USB and filters, its a nice bike but its just not... fun, was gonna blow my tax cheque on it but maybe i can twist this guys arm to hand back the keys, keep them pics coming dude,
I agree, degrease with Kero, wash, then spray engine & rear shock with Inox. then go over paintwork, plastic, any screens and your helmet with Mr Sheen. Definately use Mr Sheen on the inside and outside of your visor, makes the rain really bead up, and doubles as anti-fog on the inside!
Well got the M4 GP pipe in the mail today, the tear was a little bigger than described on fleabay, the missus has convinced me to try and get a refund as the item was not as described.. so the hunt continues for zorst..
Looks good, but it sounds a little raspy to me, imo. Maybe not bad, just different. I prefer a throaty, deep tone personally. I say take it out for a ride, and see if it sounds any different to you.
