its sound and its tough, only a narrow mind sets limits what power plant to use from, i dont think its an obstacle if it comes from a car or snow mobile or boat or plane as far as it fits my concept and my chassis ever heard of Bill Hahn a propriator of www.hahnracecraft.com with ecotec engined dragster? he had had a shit fight with us drag bike community split up with em and organised an owtlaw drag bike association where car engined bikes r legal... he could tell ya why the drag race sponcors wouldn't let car engines on bikes just because they'd have lost tons of coin who would buy their big bore kits and strokers if anyone could use a modern car engine technically matching to the modern bike engine but more upgradable and sufficiantly CHEAPER

the last thoughts before making new engine mounts. compare busas engine mount holes and b12's oilstop holes, i woulnt say the b12's head is any weaker around the spots
http://i39.tinypic.com/v5vifd.jpg
http://i44.tinypic.com/1531zqe.jpg
btw busa engine doesnt look bigger than b12's so hopefully it'll go in frame without much rewelding, just rear and engine mounts
another question to those who in the know, when u send oil to cams thru external hoses, do u block the lower holes?
http://i41.tinypic.com/21do6kh.jpg
the first approach

http://i43.tinypic.com/15iazp4.jpg

looking a tad wide without the engine, but its 440mm wide inside and 508mm outside cos the pipe is od34 and the head is appr 435mm
Mr Surt.
I was talking to someone recently about cam-links and external oil-feeds
and he pointed me at this info. Not sure if its of any interest to you.

Tony.
lol at mr Surt! thanks heaps Tony after all ur not that dumb as u might look, awesome reading at the very first glimpse
The early gsxr's had issues transfiring oil from one cam to the other so Suzuki added external oil lines. They later fixed that issue, but kept the engine casings and added bungs. Other than look's there is no need to fit external oil lines now, but saying that I fitted them to my B12 because they look cool. The banjo bolt that holds them on is quite stubby and with the copper washers it should not foul the lower holes.
i got it Jon, my question's risen because i want to use drilled studs with longer tread to deminish the loads on the hole surrounding, so they'd block the lower holes and i will need the external lines
Hey Surt, wanna go halfs on one of these machiens

Dont know Surt, but they could do plenty for my 25mm's, lol.
nice, this is most informative and refreshing........endless turd's and sexy ass's that would lead to your down fall in life. haha

http://i41.tinypic.com/33zbple.jpg
The side rails r tucked up
http://i39.tinypic.com/foerv8.jpg
The bloody holes in the frame r stuffed with bolts and wooden sticks for sand blastin
http://i44.tinypic.com/1z1fuk8.jpg
http://i41.tinypic.com/imtjyu.jpg
Tryin on the engine for clearances
http://i44.tinypic.com/2ih3xbn.jpg
Looks like theres enough room to slide the carbies or tb’s aside
http://i40.tinypic.com/x5o6k6.jpg
As well as for the head cover but I gunna check it tomorrow… btw almost a tigh fit
http://i41.tinypic.com/a2py0x.jpg
The rail runs parallel along the head cover cos I like it to be so
http://i41.tinypic.com/20k66ad.jpg
Doesn’t look to wide anymore
http://i41.tinypic.com/2ldgc35.jpg
That looks really fuckin cool surt! I love the way that tube runs paralel with the top of the engine. Good work!
thanks heaps fight fan so i thought! gunna show em the bloody manufacturers how real bike should be lol unlike their fugly b'queens eh just gimme a busa lump
Would something like the Triumph design frame give you more access Surt?
http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...RT/2ih3xbn.jpg
http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/a...RRRT/frame.jpg
yip Jon naturally i know the frame but it'd fit better ur v2 engine and then, it's quite different from b12 frame cos its rails run steeper to the swinger pivot. btw i dont like the view of the front mounting tubes without bracing
nice work surt............
thanks harry i wouldnt mess around in ur place and would shove in ur gangbangbusa her natural metal heart
