ahha here tis "qoute" q current fighter :2000 yamaha
a after i sold my beloved bandit 1200(which was my first real fighter build), i used the proced's and bought myself a second-gen R! from a fellow ASF member. "un qoute"
if i remember when i popped over to see youre steed you still had the bandit and already had the R1!! hmmmmm then after a few visits i told you and some other ASF members told you aswell you should just sell the bandit and finish the R1!! hmmmmmmmmmm lol
Lol minor oversight Holmes ;) , used proceeds from the Street Triple sale to buy the R1, and bought the parts for it with the B12 sale, my bad..
Picked up a copy at Lunchtime today and noticed Wackyrider was in there.
Great write up and pics. Congrats.
I haven't bought a magazine in ages. I don't feel the need to be honest

Hey Wacky. I just re-read your article and saw that your from Malta. I have a friend over there who used to own a big old timber turkish fishing boat that was converted into a charter boat for tourists. i think it was called "Alevok". Malta's a pretty small place. Just thought you may know of it.
Cheers, Jed
upload it bigger ya douche. i wanna read it.
well done jules . will be off to get my rapid today and have a read
nice one man.
Good stuff Jules
How come it wasn't all in French?
I wanted you guys to understand what i wrote, you already suffer enough with the English language, I didn't want to make it any harder :DQuote:

Go and buy more copies of Rapid Bikes. I've worked out that if everybody buys two, we'll make twice as much...
I'm stoked:D My ZXR made it into this months issue. Cheers to you all who helped out with advice and inspiration from your builds.
Congrats mate!
Throw a pic up so we can all read it! ;)
Well done Jed it came out good[8D]

Hey lads, we've had some great stories in the Fightin' Words section of Rapid over the last months and it's great to see the builds in print.
I just got a message from Jeff saying that they had used up all the submissions they had received. Is there anybody out there who was thinking of doing this but never did who might want to see their bike and fighting words in a two page spread in Rapid Bikes? The deadline is in 2 days so if you're keen or had something not quite finished then get the details into Jeff ASAP.
Refer to the first post of this topic for the questions you need to answer and dig out some photos for the mag as well. The whole lot can be sent to Jeff at editor AT rapidbikes.com.au (written like that deliberately to stop spam bots stealing the email address, but you know how to write it properly!)
So who's up next?
lol si can you imagine me writing a article for rapid ,they would need a bloody office full of spell checking freaks and an dicstionary the sise of an house.
oh and the whole mag deicated to my story as it would take that long to say hi lol
They proof read and check everything mate, so you could send in crayon drawings and pictures of your arse and they'd still manage to get a story out of it.
....that reminds me. Jeff said they had computer melt down recently and lost some stuff, so if your story hasn't been shown in the mag yet, send it in again as it will make the next issue.
wat my arse ,does that include the hemaroids
Can I be the first to say: Your bike looks fuckin' great in this month's Rapid Scotty. Great write up and photos mate. Well done!
I'll do one. Considering im stuck in a chair I might as well :)
congrats scotty
well done Scott.
Top job Scotty.
I thought about it but I dont think my stuff
is up to that standard. Its all pretty plain.
Maybe one day.
I think your actual bike an photos are secondary to the actual story itself. It's about getting the Streetfighter story across and how builders think differently to your average Joe. The photos are just the icing on the cake and Scotty's are exceptional. I reckon anyone from here could write one of these articles. Tony, you'd have a great story, plus photos dating back to the 80's, yours would be perfect to capture the Streetfighter spirit. Weasel's will also be cool and I bet he has some corker photos!
I'm still waiting for Deano to stick his in, that's going to be great.
