Rod and Red road trip, lock up your sheep people, this is going to get messy .
you'll prb beat me its a postie lol
To Cooma yes, to the paddock full of sheep, you are on your own
We will hold you to that you know
Ok, if you must, but can you bring something with a bit more horse power than a GP what ever the fuck 600
maybe
Does this mean your going timbo
Im going to give it my best shot mate but I need a few stars to align first
I know how you feel one of my stars includes you ....crap this sounds like man love doh
And a bike trailer
Bloody hell MONO haven't you got a van yet ????
Free candy?
I'm going to go ahead and bags my own room preferably away from all the grunting and squeeling.
Hahaha as if you won't be at the window panting
Fuck this, I leave Vic and all you bastards decide to go to NFR. Now I HAVE to go. Time to book in my leave I think.
Riding or driving Jules ?
Maybe trailer down to Gitzy (or someoone round the area) and ride from there. I need to decide dates asap so that I can book leave. So who's keen from Qld?
I'm keen but in the same boat as you mate needing to book leave etc. Plus money might be tight, really dunno yet.
this is sounding good! Im going for sure
With the season being late here this year I'm in with a chance to go to my first NFR but I'll only ever be a maybe until I get on me bike to go. I'll see who else I can rustle up from here, who are members obviously.
Get Steve to come along stu
Im there. Already started getting the bike ready for a trek down. And I will try to not chace any rabbits or try keep up with the v twins this year..lol
lol
That's the plan, if we go to the GP in October it may make it difficult, but no GP would see a huge accumulation of browning points for Steve, his minister for war and finance requires a hefty deposit of points to let Steve come and play with the other bike kids.
Fuckinhell ! just waded through 6 pages of crap & I still dunno what the dates are for this.
So...
What are the dates for this NFR thing?
Friday 8th November this year always weekend after the snowy run
Bob, when will you leave and when do you expect to be back to brissy? Not sure how long to take leave for to ride down
Im gonna take my time this year. Normally you can leave thurdays morning and get somewhere round newcastle and then ride to cooma the next day and like wise back.
This year Im gonna leave wednesday and go threw to dorrigo down and see a freind in port mac, mabe crashing at revheads place. Then was gonna head out towards bathurst or ride the blue mountain and crash at bargo or somewhere near phesant nest to meet up with everyone on friday morning.
Then leave cooma sunday and get around sydney for a night. Then either back direct to brissy or mabe crash another night at coffs. SO instead of 2 days down and 2 days back I mite take 3 days down and 3 days back.
The last 2 NFR's Ive had a blast but its Im alwaysed rushed to get back, and cause all your doing is riding your pretty fucked by the end of that day. So Ive saved my holidays and as long as the wife doesnt get called away for work then Im considering taking my time... But nothing is set in stone YET!
I may still have to do it over 2 days, but its a boring highway ride there and back.
If you stay at rev's tell him it was cancelled and your off to see your gran or something ;)
Are you guys gonna trailer down mike?
Im at this stage going to trailer/van my bike to larges on the thursday and ride from there on friday for the run down... dont have time or the inclination to do a syd bris run home, couldnt think of much worse, maybe if i had a week but not with time constraints... that way i can get to taree or therabouts sunday night and easy trip home monday....
Cooma to taree is doable in a day, Warhound and I did it the first year
Looks like I'm booking just over a week of holidays
My pencil plan is to do some thing simlar to Heafty's.
Leave the car/trailer in Sydney and ride down with the turbo boys.
