Na just kidding Kev, Im sure you'll be done soon enough.
Side note fellas, started it up tonight and it sounded awesome with that shorty pipe. Not as loud as i thought it would be, but thats ok, im sure it will change when it gets a bit "burnt in".
Few minor issues, fuel tap leaks a little, tacho signal isnt showing and the ing barrell has a bad connection and cuts out when I twist the bars.
All easy fix's but will know more on the first test ride if I got things right or wrong [:p]
Oh and thanks for the kind words lads, but you guys made this build happen just through me being on this forum.
I'v jst seen ur seat! [:p][:p][:p]
Yep, Kev has done an unreal job of the seat, and Thanks again VCM for doing yet another great job. Off to see Ben on monday and hopefully pick up one of he's really nice front resv's for the master cylinder. Decided new hand grips are required, and waiting on fuel tap kit before I can actually take it for a decent spin.
Bit more eye candy for you all.

very nice.
Damn that looks awesome! Can't believe how far it's come since I was there what, a week or 2 ago? Nuts.
So it is all but done, and went on its first test ride yesterday arvo/night. Went well for a little bit, but found out quick that cylinder #3 wasnt firing at all. Turns out the contact to the spark plug is a bit rusty and seen a bit to much use. I'll sort it out soon enough.
Sorry, my flatmate decided to take a pic with a phone camera, so its not the best.

I didnt want to start a new topic, so Ive just added to my bike build thread. It relates, coz I got my new lid back from my brother who painted it to match my bike. It is an awesome job, and am very happy with it.

That helmet looks great and really matches the bike.
If we'd got off our arses and actually voted for best fighter at AFR, I woulda voted for yours Luke.
Cheers all, but I wont take credit for the paint, my little bro is the talent behind that.
Large, I was just happy enough to have the bike up there in the tops with you guys. Bring on NFR!
Aha, that explains it...Quote:

OK, update on the 750. Its now got a new heart transplant getting ready. 95 1100, the old mongral engine. Here is a picture of it stripped out of the frame but not cleaned. Should be painted and cleaned by weekend.

Will keep this updated as much as I can. Im going through Deano's "how to" for this process, as see how this ends up. ;)
Gee... looked cleaner when I had it lol.... ;)
I bet it did mate. I think Boris bolted it in and rode it. Tomorrow i'll have pic's of the paint job. Getting some stainless steel bolts and hopefully a window clutch cover if deano gets back to me ;)Quote:

Tis a pity you dont have the Akro system I got for it. Had a wicked note. You should have a ball mate.

Well worth it nice covers.
Engine all cleaned and painted. Got some stainless steel bolts for the covers and made up some "fake braided" oil lines from one of them kits you get from repco and heat 16mm shrink. Just got to collect some more bits before I pull out the 750 and put the 1100 in.
