workshop upgrades continue, material racking and welding gear shelve finished
I used 25mm mdf precut then routered the edges, cost a bit but more than happy with the result

now I have my fab table backi can spend my lonely Saturday nights doing much more interesting things
like to some test holes for the reamed tapper dowels I will be using to locate the main part of my frame jig.
Im using a mt2 tapper because the mt2-mt1 drill adaptors I will use for dowels are cheep as chips

That is one hell of a cool set up mate! Nice work.
And what's wrong with mischief?
so I keep finding uses for my fab table. I'm using 25mm precision ground bar as part of the set
up for weld out of this section of the frame jig. Needed a groove exactly half way for the plum bob,
set up made easy. Then when machining I noticed the brand new bar had a bend. Once I measured it
I was surprised to find it was actually 0.74mm bent. After some short panic I came up with this solution.
Rather chuffed to discover straightening it was way more easy than I could have hoped for.

0.74mm. ....you engineer types....
this set up is killing me.......
for the rest of the system to work properly these points have to be spot on and
trust me that is painful. Spot on is hard enough on one plane, two planes is a pain
but in three planes is just fucking horrible........
There is nothing i can do to stop it all moving a touch when its welded out even with a good weld sequence and strong clamping,so the closer
i am before i start the better.

I was only going to use the mig wire to square the alignment to the center line
via triangulation, then i realised i could easily use some of the jig parts i used for the drag bike build to give me a second way of verifying.
It took almost 6 hours to weld but the frame jig main mounts are now welded........
Instead of pics, I took time lapse on the phone and created the first " Lynton land " clip
