Stayed after work tonight to finish the spacer for the top triple to complete the swap. Also bent up some metal for some small side covers. Had some help.

looks like the bike is attracting pussy already mate.
haha, yep.
Today I played around giving it a faux-patina look. Was fun but will be painting it nicely before spring. Just something to change it up for now. Also got the small side cover things bolted on. And toyed with the idea of a belly pan.

Very nice. I noticed it on your bike before. Really suits it too. are you a striper as well?
cheers mate ,nah im a mechanic who thinks he can do everything, only 2 things on my bike has been done by someone else the stripeing was done by VON DAZ in sydney and the seats by big kev @ VCM CYCLE SEATS in sydney aswell but the rest was done by me
so you did your own stripe work then !!
Yeah I dont do as much striping now that I dont work at the paint shop but i still do a bit. some stuff is at www.pinheadlounge.com/erki
Nice mate. Love the white and orange on the black pushy you did.
x2/\/\/\/\/\
Love ur work makes mine look timid.
So when did you stripe ur bike??
Last summer after I gave it a rattle can flat black paint job.
Just a small update. Got everything routed and plugged in and it fits under the seat. Just need to find a place for the ignition and I think i'll be striping it all down again to put some paint on the frame and swingarm.

Just make sure all of those components are cushion mounted mate (i.e. foam rubber under them or similar). If you don't you'll be amazed at how easy they can rattle apart if your roads are anything like Australia's.
Ok thanks for the tip. Hadn't thought of that.
Just some more wiring and found a place for the ignition.

looking good mate i like what you did with your ignition
nice little hidey hole for the ignition mate.
Not much progress. But I got a headlight and speedometer. And started prepping the frame. I think I will be leving the fauxtina paint for now. since I still have to order a front fender. I like to paint stuff all at once so I can make sure colors/metallics match.
