yes and yes. Ben ordered it friday morning and it was delivered that afternoon
Ive got those on the ute.

you get a rear sprocket when you buy a set, to your spec's (chain size/teeth),and they can provide galfer wave discs, but that costs extra. I bought a set earlier this year, really good quality. It took longer to get them through customs than it did for them to get from the U.S. to sydney. And although they cost a bit, they're a hell of a lot cheaper than the $3500-$4000 to get marchesini/marvic/dymags etc. Get ben to make disc centres to match the spoke pattern, large, they look great:DQuote:

Ben is a dealer for Carrozzeria now, and was saying the two wheels (can't remember if you get discs and sprocket too) were about 2600, so maybe half that just for the front.Quote:

This is sounding like a ripper Large!! What sort of dollars are you talking for those wheels?
Purely a rebirthing thing, I think the bike could be bent in half, but as long as the numbers match up it's all clear.Quote:

Hey ICE, I know we were talking about this last time we met and I know you went to Dodgy Dougs for your VIV, but are they meant to check the frame and parts for structural soundness or is it just a rebirthing check?????
Rumour is that in Vic in the interests of "safety" the requirements for VIV are soon to be changed to prevent any repair to alloy frames, wheels and forks...
yeah, but that wont be a problem in largest case (there was a thread about that somewhere, i think its already happened :()
I really hope not, but I couldn't find any damage to the frame, steering or suspension. I even had a professional (wrecker) help check it out...once we decided we wouldn't bid on each other's bikes.Quote:

If they do bring this rule in, You'd think they'd have to have a "grandfather clause" to cover blokes who've bough bikes in the past year or two?
i serious doubt they would :(
the thing is large that
a) u dont know the original dimensions so its hard to check if its moved
b) crack testing wont work cos its painted, and u cant to magnetic partical testing on aluminium
but unless u strip the powdercoat there isnt much u can do
But if the bike had hit something there'd usually be dings in the forks or frame to indicate an impact?.Quote:

im more talking about the say if loads from the wheels hitting something had twisted or bent the frame
but i think if the forks and swingarm are straight it wouldnt be something you need to worry about
most welds should be ok if there arent visible surface cracks
looking at the pics i would be more worried about the subframe
but you'll be redo-ing that so...
The subframe hasn't got a mark on it, but I'm going to chop the last 10" or so off to fit my seat unit.Quote:

I've got all the rest of the fairings in a box here, most look like they were taken off, rather than breaking off in the crash.
I was doing an Optimus Prime with them the other night:D
btw here's a quote from another forum about the rta inspection.
SoQuote:
quote:Looks like you'll have to pay an extra $405 on top of your new rego cost.
New law was announced on the 22nd Sep
Came into effect on the 24th Sep
A whole 2 days notice.
I was told it was due to the high number of water damaged cars from Newcastle
oh yeah, blame the newcastle people....
prolly you and rexie rebirthing cars and running them up to/from queensland:DQuote:

i wouldnt even worry about slught twist in the frame because they can straighten just about anything!! most new bikes out the factory arent true 100%.
i had mine straighten when i initially got it fixed
yeah, but all thats about to change...
But if you don't tell them and you paint/powdercoat over the evidence, you should be ok..no?.Quote:

yeah, but that straightening business in VIC has closed its doors
i dont see why the bloke in sydney (cant remember his name...) wont have to do the same
cant see em being keen to do illegal mods to frames, it'd leave em wide open for suing [XX(]
Laurie Alderton ( the sydney bloke ) is kept pretty busy with race/ track bikes anyway.
good to hear, need to give him a call about mine :D
thats the guy who straightened my front wheel yeah?
roundened?Quote:

d) all of the above!
I really should edit in a suitable answer "c"
:D
meh
My mate bout a repairable writeoff. And im pretty sure the rta inspection to match up the frame numbers to the engines, etc. is $300. Good effort large
