THATS MONEY RIGHT THERE , AWESOME LOOKING BIKE WELL DONE
Holy Fuck! This is going to be awesome when it's finished, nice one mate!
Ive been hard at this bike all weekend seeing as I go back to work tomorrow. I have rewired the warning lights, have neutral, oil, left & right turn signals. I ditched the highbeam coz I know when that will be in use. The headlight is mounted, and the bash panel sits between the top tripple and the cut out for the headlight.
Hope you like the pictures!

thats a dam nice bike , have you thourt of a colour for it yet ?
Bloody awesome mate, and what Kev said, Colour ideas??
Yeah I have got a plan of action for paint, I have a guy doing a render for me off the last pic with the belly pan and front fender so once I have that, I'll post it up.
Oh by the way Kev, I will be calling on your services again to trim the seat up mate, so expect a call in about a week or so's time :D
luke it would be my pleasure mate as you were a great customer to work with mate , look foward to working with you
Here we are again, another week has gone by and some more progress has gone under way.
There rearsets I bought didnt fit the bike, foolish me didnt read the discription correctly as the earlier models where slightly different. So the originals are going back on after a mates hand of trickery has waved over them.
There isnt a real lot you can see in the pictures, this was due to alot of wire work that went on over the week and weekend. The only thing I can show you is the fittment of the belly pan and the new mini turn signals now mounted and wired in also. The radiator and headers are just installed to get the right fitting of the belly pan.
Now the waiting game for the front fender, brake lines and other bits and shits to come in the post. Then she will be off to paint. Oh and the exhaust, that will be a project in its self as Im going to attempt to make the mid-pipe myself and this will provide the look and travel I want. Enjoy the pic's

Thumbs fckn UP..
Thats a winner right there.
Fuck yeh! That'l be a winner!
Damn dude, that's awesome!
Can't wait to see it done...
The front fender arrive yesterday, and spent a little time just working out spacing and gaps between moving parts. Tonight it is fitted up, and now its time to get some paint on the beast. Im out saturday buying the blue for the flames, and there isnt alot left to do. Over the weekend I fitted the new chain, rearsets, made a overflow bottle and tidied up some wires in the rear and dash panel.
Still waiting on brake lines, and the end can so I can make the mid pipe up. Still thinking I may be able to squeeze the can under the bike and just exit under the right rearset. Only having the end can will tell.
Some pic's of the fitted body work, ready for some paint.
Oh and Im thinking of trimming the fender back on each side of the forks to expose the fork upper tube. This would make it inline with the narrow headlight, what do you guys think?

purely awesome luke and that paint job should be sweet as man.
Yeh i'd trim that guard dwn mate! Maybe try n curve it a bit more though so it matches better & doesnt come out lookin like an afterthought.
Deffo nailed the Euro look!
you could cut some slots in the "mouth" of the lampenmaske and put the horn behind it.
Exactly what I was going to say. Trim it with a slight curve so it matches the sides of the headlight, would look awesome.Quote:

Yeah I see what you guys are getting at. I'll do the old white board marker line and see how that looks. EFE, the "mouth" is getting air brushed over the blue with a "tearing flesh" opening look to it. All done in shades of blacks and high lights. All the dash and light connectors live in there, so no horn would fit.
Something like this would look awesome:

That would be good mate, but I cant cut it back that far due to the wrap around back section behind the actual fork legs that limits how far back I can cut it. My idea was to follow the line from the front mount and keep go straight up, will small rounds on each end.
I got my brake lines today from HEL and there now fitted up. Small stuff up was the front change from the stock master to the radial means the line touch's the top tripple clamp. No biggy really but it has taken some length out of the line. Also my end can arrived, will have pictures up soon as I have another question I would like some opinions on.
Ive got the slip-on in the mail yesterday, and am now looking at where I would like it to sit on the bike. Here is a quick pic of what I would like. Also thinking it may need to come back a little, and maybe twist it so the oval is more upright then flat.

No words but respect very very nice lkc
Thanks mate, progress has slowed some what. Its booked in for paint next thursday and will be done by the following monday. More pic's of the beast then.
Update time again. Ive made the link pipe for the headers and now wheather deciding to paint them with heat black or get them ceramic coated. I have found a stainless steel set from the UK so it would be no point spending the money for ceramic coating when I can get the stainless later down the track. Seat is ready for the trimmers, which I'll be dropping tomorrow arvo. Oh and next pic's you'll see, is the paint done. Its getting clsoe to getting back on the road! :D

other than that it looks the goods.
EFE, you trying to tell me thats not a comfy seat, or that it shouldnt have a comfy seat? The actual seat is with Kev at VCM now, just dropped it off tonight.
looking good. have you left enough room for the rear brake pedal travel?
Efe said there is no comfy seat on a german fighter
Deano, yeah gets full travel mate! Cheers banditrod, it wont be any sort of cruiser seat, but wont be an alloy plate either.
Hey fellas, just a quick sneek as to the painting that went down over the weekend. I love it, and cant wait to get it out on the road!
(Pictures are lost and could not be found anywhere)
Sorry about the pic's, only take with my phone and will get better one's tomorrow once I have the pipe on and it completed bar the seat.
