it ain't dropping fluids but the tail is erm... not technically attached to the bike. It sit there pretty wheel - done a few wheelies and its hanging on tight - but hey I got a week to finish it!Quote:

person:ok cool, its a bike.. thats your helmet?
me:yep
person:good.sign here, heres your race number
as long as its not dropping fluids, and is in a half orderly apperence it'll pass too easy
cheers.joe.
Hey War hound,
Clutches are really a piece of piss like joe said.
We pull the clutch in the drag bike out after each meet & put it back with any needed changes the night before the next one.
Best part is that my mrs does it.[:0]
Yep that's right Michelle does all the clutch work on the Kwaka so if she can do it i'm sue it won't be a hassle for you.
Just make sure you do get a new gasket & BOTH surfaces are spotlessly clean before you put the cover back on.
Rick
I am willing to give it a go .. I come from a no mechanical knowledge background .. but I have learned to do as I have gone along ... do my own servicing and brakes now .. put a dynojet kit in myself and refurbished the carbs while I had em apart... so what the hell I have a pdf manual somewhere .. I am the type thats always weary of doing something I have never done before .. but so long as it doesnt involve wood and a saw I am usually not too bad .. LOL .. Electrical stuff on the other hand is my area .. 8) .. Not with bikes as such but I used to build PCs and repair them and tvs and photocopiers .. so I guess I just apply the same logic 8)
Im a lazy tight-arse ;)
I put a block of wood or a brick under both wheels,
then lean it right over on the side stand.
Dont even lose a drop of oil. :D
Not recomended, but works.
Considering I dropped 80 bucks worth of oil in it in dubbo probably be a good idea to do it your way 8)
Ill be there on the ulta custom super powered offical dragbike.com.au GSXR streetbike :D just stand well clear when i launch, i wont be held responsible for any injurys caused by the top fuel style launches ;) and dont sit in the mid track grandstand area as the sonic boom created by this fine piece of unique machinery may damage your ear drums or even cause brain damage!!
(disclaimer) WARNING May contain traces of nuts.[xx(]
im still going to kick your arse shayne [:P] :D
cheers.joe.
Yep, clutches are a piece of piss to do, just do what Tony suggests, just remember to make sure the bolts holding pressure plate on are nice and tight, you don't want them coming loose and destroying the cover.... like the tosser that owned mine previously..
Easy job mate.
Cheers
Yeah well I try my best to avoid being a tosser at every opportunity 8) Thanks for the advise guys 8)
Didnt get to make it down there today guys .. sorry about that but my other halfs dipshit X caused us a lot of grief and mucked us about with the kids so we were marooned .. 8( .. I will however be at the next one and the bearded dragon tomorrow 8)
See ya there
Mark
Was a good day, good turn out, lots of PB's, hot again which is better than it being rained out.

send a copy of your ticket to Gix to take your rightful place as best RT on bragging board... well done...
(bastard.... was my one and only chance of getting my name on somewhere reputable and you go and beat my .407...)
Jarrod:D
hey joe - your bike looks great in action.
Whats the go with the little number plates - is it BYO or they supply?
they supply em mate.
and thanks guys.
cheers.joe.
Looks like you have a bunch of string coming out the back of your bike on that top shot mate. I'll add that to the bragging board if this is still active tomorrow to remind me.
I was going to say it was the string that has a tampon hanging off the end .... but I'd better not, Joe's a nice bloke... nutbag though...
Nice reaction time Joe, can't get better than that, Oh, and you should put your track time on the bragging board too, just to prove that us drag racers CAN go around corners.
Cheers.
ok, well my lap time for queensland raceway is 1min 29.5sec dunno if thats fast, but was only .7 or so of a sec slower then the zx10r i was chasing all day lol!
and reg... you called me a nutbag.... cheques in the mail mate :D
cheers.joe.
