That dash pod come up great Pete
thanks rod,i have a fitment prob, being a slingy speedo the cable pick up is mounted at a 55 degree angle,,so the cable hits straight into the left head light, so ive had to mount the speedo in twisted side ways,,il have to find another from an 1100w for a straight out cable fitment,
were the bars second hand pete or new ,can you buy an adaptor for the speedo drive .
the bars were brand new ,and um the speedo after todays ride is rooted the neddle broke off,wot model bike is yurs pav

1st ride out did 300ks even ,speedo shit itself ,,and ripped the left foot peg off on a lump of tar on a left hander
95 zxr750 mate
i dont know about n adaptor, but could you change your speedo drive on th front wheel, and cable to suit
Piss the cable off and get an acewell dash one of the little round ones
dude, thats really looking good now
i would ditch the flatbars to the tail, and put on turnbuckle things
that i think i can see how you are trying to match it up to the frame
little touches make it awesome
the red hoses with that red stripe through the middle
im with rod though, modern speedo FTW
Well Pete only my 6 cents and I dont know whether you want to hear it but here gos, I think the tail looks silly and blown out by the colour, there are so many tails over that which would have looked the goods and Im with Fimp, the dash needs to be changed as the surface area it leaves doesn't work, to be honest I think you have gone back wards and as you know Im not going to blow hot wind up your arse and on that you may think Im not being fair dinks but I am.
Like I said just my opinion.
The more I look at it the more I agree with Dylan on this one Pete ....with your talent and knowhow I am certain you can make this thing a real tuff fighter
thanks guys,i am working on another dash as this one has given a few problems, with space n fitment ,as for the tail i like it ,,,with the colour i was trying for the more is less with the no strip look ,trying to make the seating rider postion stand out ,cheers for the thoughts it helps
IMO the only thing really wrong is the colour (and this applies to many 'fighters Pete, not just yours)
'Streetfighter' by definition = tough, nasty, aggressive, hard-ass....
But painting them pretty colours....makes them very 'nice' [:p]
