He's a nice bloke Rod Hatfield. Met him a few years ago at his museum up at Castlemaine. Had a chat for bout 20 mins regarding Final Objective and his other projects. The ideas sound enough with heat distrbution and surface area of pad over the disk spread more evenly, but would be far out surpased by the increase in weight on the front end from not only the calipers but the big lump of Alu to mount them.
Nothing like strapping heaps of weight onto a bike that's major draw card is light weight to slow it down, bet it messes with the handling of the front end to lol.
It's obvious how it works. He runs a braided nose from the device on the left side to the front most callipers on the right side through the spokes on the wheel.
