Nice work mate!
He ain't half bad that Lynton fellow now is he
Oh yeah, no words needed, should have taken my bike to you before Dust Hustle.
How was it btw?
This is just some progress on Jason's aluminum panel katana, there is a sister aluminum paneled z1000 with supercharger as well
Tonight I did a new steering stop for the aprilla front end

This time I'm covering some updates on my zephyr 1100 that I have talked about building for 10 years
Well I a hadn't touched it in over 5 years but have managed to make a start again..... helps I got a
set of super cool Japanese aftermarket rims... all be it second hand and off a cb1300 ( I won't tell if you don't)
but at over $3600 to your door brand new I'm not complaining....

I say start a new project and keep these videos coming mate! Big effort by you, but we're happy and it makes great viewing.
Thanks si, i was thinking of a thread of video updates on all the projects I do
here and some workshop ones with some how to with the way I go about stuff.
These two are just iPhone shot and a very simple edit with iMovie. It's the sort of thing
I personally find interesting and I'm sick of the hipster motion we get with almost all bike clips now
Great stuff Lynton. Will be waiting for the next installment.
Some update shots of Jason's katana
Starting to really zero in on its final form

I take it Jason never uses the balls of his feet on the pegs?
This is going to be really nice. Keep it coming mate.
Well I just finished up some details on Sarah's bike,
her and Jules will finish it off and get it on the road.
Had a blast thanks guy, you have been please to work with ....

Cool. It'll be interesting to see how this one turns out.
Battery is on order, Sub-frame will be heading to the powder coater this week.
Will be giving it a service this week
Need to figure out how we're mounting the headlight still
Bit of a update, to make the rear rim work as I want I have had to machine
a new hub to suit, more hours than it's worth buts it's for me so I can.
Still want to go in from the underside and take out some extra weight.
Not essential but can't hurt....
Started out as a 140 dia 6061 t6, only because it's under half the price of
what I wanted lol it's fine and to be honest machined a lot nicer than I remembered

Cool. You can literally make whatever comes into your head, can't you mate?
Thanks si, tho only if it that was true lol I work very hard
to keep things practical. A big mistake a lot of people make
is having unrealistic ideas on what they want to achieve and
what it takes to do so. Nothing wrong with that of course but
very quickly every thing just turns out convoluted.
Pictures of it fitted to the rim, I'm tempted to ditch the second
Bearing I was going add.

Looks nice and clean.
Ditto what Gamma said.
Thanks lads, I must admit even I'm rather happy with the result
Any way here is another video update

Didn't realise that was Jase's old Orange Zed. That looks sweet!. Whole video was good mate. Cheers again.
The extra 200 grams shouldn't be an issue because the Ø of the mass is smaller, so the effective inertia will be less.
Inertia goes up by the square of the Ø.
Lighter parts help with getting power to the ground, Yes
Smaller parts do the job even better.
Now go and quote up that disc adp. as if you where making it for someone :)
No don't... I'd hate to know what all my parts would have cost me haha
the order of pictures makes it look like you are turning a machined part back into it's raw bar stock haha
Hah - engineer types - I resemble that remark! Is that because I've taken to weighing everything I change lately?
Should have included the disc weights to show a total weight loss :P
You should see how the push bike fags go with weight ... some guys take out 3 of the 6 cap screws holding on the discs because it saves .0000000002 grams or whatever...
