Sorry Neil, Didn't see your post.Quote:

What bars are you using? Do you know the height/rise/sweep of them?
Cheers!
They're ABM fatbars from Stu At Ausfr. So they don't have a Reed/Henry bend or anything like that
In geological terms...this project is screaming along.[:p]Quote:

I'm discovering the joys of finding out all the little idiosyncrasies of an ICV
[:0]:D
Good Times
Ok, cheers mate - the sweep looks a bit much for me, but I like the rise. I've got an old set of 966's that I'm going to use to work out rough bar position once I get my clamps on (or more accurately once brad gets my clamps on, after painting and drilling the lower yokes ;)). I'm thinking just a set of renthal enduro bend fatbars might be ok, which have slightly more rise than the 966's, but if the rise isn't enough I'll probably go for their ricky bend which has another 20mm rise and a similar low sweep angle...Quote:

What is the go with the Spondon? Rego problems or mechanical?
i am sure its the rego side of things i think si
Being an ICV it has a few idiosyncrasies....like not wanting to start when I'm sitting on the seat. But I can put up with that because of the pleasure it gives when riding it. It really is the sweetest handling/best sounding bike I've owned.Quote:

The RTA are a pack of cunts tho. Even though it's been engineered and rego'd in WA, they want a NSW engineers report, because apparently NSW ADR's are different to WA ADRs.:(
Thats ghey Large! I had the same problem with my 7/11! Even tho it was rego'd in Vic i had to jump thru so many hoops to get it engineered n certified! End up costing me about $1400 by the time I had it on the road!
Hey Fight Fan, was that because of the 1100 motor? Or something else like subframe?
Do the RTA NEED to know if the bike has a 1100 in it? or could I just tell them it's a reco 750?
The RTA don't need to know anything.Quote:

But if you hide something from them and/or your insurer (if you have one) it could come back and bite you if you crash or get stopped by the rozzers and certain bits or numbers don't match.
as for the -10.
I'm hoping to get it running by the end of the month. I figure once I can sit on it and ride it around a bit, I will get keen to do more on it.
hang in there rich.
Both really! I needed an engineers cert for the engine swap n a blue slip fpr rego n I got ran around somethin fierce! They wanted me to do an ADR brake test to make sure my K4 Gix1000 front end was up to the task of stoppin the bike plus a Db check! Luckily my engineer rode n let me off easy! Otherwise it would have cost me a fuck load more! [xx(] Oh well its all over now anyway...Quote:

Awesome work man. I just broke the front off my 10r and plan to fighter it. I'd love a set of those triple trees. :P
