Yes but R1's brakes are far better than Hilux's, and hitting the brakes hard because a hilux is sitting on your arse is not always a good idea ;) The driver was deemed at fault but I would not go so far as to say it was entirly his fault or as spiteful as the gold coast story would suggest.Quote:

id say the Bking dont like the wheelies due to weight and long wheelies comming down when the front wheel is stopped? the 06 R1 is also known to crack frames with to many wheelies & i even seen a brand new 09 kawasaki straight out the create where the welds on the frame had totally missed the joins and no recalls..

ER sorry final act of World War 2 was dropping an A Bomb on the deck of the Yamamoto? along with the rest of the japanese fleet at an Atoll in the South pacific.
The photo is taken from a long distance and you can see the mushroom cloud of the A bomb just rising and a massive tidal wave , Tsunami?
about to sink the rest of the fleet.
you could buy a poster in the late '60s early seventies but obviously was taken off the shelves in later years for obvious reasons
I had it but with numerous shifting over the years have lost it.

the bomb went off near a river, where a road intersects with the river bridge road and makes a big T. the memorial building he is thinking of is the one that still has the metal framed dome on top, it was pretty much under the bomb. but i cant see the river in that pic
