see that big nut on the r/h side of the upper case?
that's the oil passage way and it needs to be removed so you can clean all the shit out of it, I used a couple of cans of supershit degreaser and a pressure washer to spray all the little oil holes/passages in my cases.
remember cleanliness is next to godliness!
Bloke here in shep quotes $75 an hour , he sez he works fast but I've not used him yet . 600 single goes in soon
Thats pretty good too red, let us know what it looks like.
CBR1000 RR fender for the undertail exhaust turned up today, best $6.50 i ever spent!
not sure if it will stay on but it sure will help with RWC.

HAHAHA CLASSIC.
I WORKED FOR A GUY YEARS AGO AND ONE OF THE BOYS BORROWED THE WORK WAGON TO PICK UP A NEW
V6 FOR HIS FUCKED OLD COMMODORE.
bY THE TIME HE GOT BACK THE V6 HAD FALLEN OVER SMASHED THE 1/4 GLASS AND SMASHED THE INNER TRIMS AND ALSO LOST ALL THE OIL OVER THE CARPET.
THE BOSS WAS VERY UNIMPRESSED.
NICE BUILD MATE - I THINK I KNOW A GUY WITH A Z1000 FRAME IN HIS GARAGE WITH SOME OTHER SPARES LAYING AROUND??
Oops!!!!!
I wish I still had the pics of my R6 in the back of a brand new (46km) 80 thousand dollar Passat v6 wagon,
Wheels and forks were off but e rest was complete....
Meanwhile, I'm teaching the boy what it's all about

That's starting to look seriously good mate. Love the look and the lines of it................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...........I'd probably change the wheels though ;)
I'm loving the frame stand.....
Seriously though with those lines it should look the goods.
Haha do you think I should put my chrome set on stiffie???
Yeah my stand needs an up-grade, I had to throw my milk crate out in the move.
I can still get the exhaust up another 10mm I rekon and I'll run the brake light above it.
dont you dare put crome rims on that.... ever
and if it was me and you are set un the under tail exhust id look at a dif unit that had squarer lines and fit better imo that one looks out of place
just looking at it know id cut the front pipe off and turn the unit upside down i think the side kick and back tapper would look a dam sit better in there
haha dont worry mate im just winding up the pom.
i have finaly got to fit the bits that Trav turned up for me ( thanks mate)
got the frame bosses in the swingarm piviot to bush down the I.D and width:

V nice mate. i like the exhaust. really matches the pro touring (more a car term i think, but it suits this type of build) type look you're going for.
picked up my new commuter today......
fuck this thing can boogie!!!
gonna be fun in the twisties.
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...ps642ea73f.jpg
Just like my old one.
get an OEM titanium R6 can for it, it'll make it sound like it should, and stop the rear tyre from rubbing on the exhaust.
They make great a great commuter.
Yeah ever since I missed out on yours mate I have just had to have one....... And fuk they boogie!!!!!
I'm sure there is a can floating round work somewhere.......
As for the commuter it turns out Ormeau to Moorooka is not the 34 mins google maps says it is, more like 55 mins with super lane splitting and filtering..... Not so comfortable after an hour.
I also need to re- gear it, some Fukien knob jockey has put a 38tooth rear on it! I can't hit top gear until I'm doing 130km/h
130 in top sounds about right for commuting :o
Saw the KTM on gumtree and looks really good for the dollars. Motards are great commuters but the tyres wont last. A 38 tooth seems a bit small. Stock sprocket should be around 42.
