A tig brush is a little box very similar to a tig , but with a brush (just like a paint brush on the end) dip it in a mild pickle paste (not the harsh shit u'd use normally) and brush away the black/colouration around your nice weld and hey presto clean sexy weld. Only prob is not much change outa $1000 for one.

Try swapping the cans from left to right may make a smaller optical area.

You could try a little toluleen , its paint thinner. Go easy dip a rag and wipe , should sort the foam just dont drown the resin in it. A little off a rag shouldnt be an issue (it will evap before it does any damage to the resin)
Nah it's all good. The acetone loosened up the masking tape and the glue holding the foam bits together and it all just slid out like a catholic woman's 8th baby..
Did a bit of trimming with the grinder. Didnt get all the nails out so lots of sparky glassfiber.
