Just cut about 40mm off the bottom but it still doesn't line up with anything on the tank http://www.streetfighters.com.au/for...9474101472.JPG

Ok, just hacked another 20mm or so from the bottom curve. Still got to put a bit of concave in the rear of it I reckon.

looking good large!

Looking good large - just reckon you got to fix this line now - not the raised bit the lower plane.

i reckon looks good, but take 2 inches off the end? and definitely go the way sharky is saying with the concave and angled down a bit. or maybe you can compensate the nuts smashed on tank by shortening it more! then you can mash your balls all you like?
Fuck yeh! Really starting to take shape!
Yep, thats the one.Quote:

Yep, definitely Ben's Last onemate. Get the file out again (Getting the idea of how long I spent on mine now mate?).
The weightier front part of the tail ties in with the bulky front end. The sleek one doesn't work as well.
i better get my finger out and tart the bike up all this stuff thats gonna be hitting the streets soon is looking fine ..nice build large
Coming together very well Mr Large....but is anyone going to be able to see all the hard work your putting in on the tail section when you are ..errr.. how do I put this...sitting on the bike???:D:D:D
What sort of foam do you guys use for this kind of shaping?
Where can I get some?
High Density (HD) Foam mate. I get mine from a special effects company who build theme park rides etc. They have shit loads of the stuff lying around and I just walked into their factory and asked for a bit. I got enough to do my tail section and Mark's light unit for $20. Industrial areas near you may have a company that uses the same stuff. Check it out. Alternatively you'll have to ask the others where they get it over the counter.
You should strap a chainsaw beside it too...
that looks fucking great large and BTW thanks for the parcel i got in the mail my postie was pissing himself laughing you smartarse lol
