It will be there Si. I had to get another radiator today as the old one was hit by something and leaked. It was in very poor condition at the first rebuild. So decided to go look for another which I found today and is now working a treat.
Ive also got new plates on the bike, silver with black letters, they were on my r6 but put them in storage before I sold the bike.
Now they have a new home on the fighter, and look much better then yellow & black stocko's.
Hey fellas, been a while for me looking through the pages here. But after missing AFR due to suspected blown head gasket I was getting down and couldnt be bothered with anything for a while.
Good news is that my bikes engine is getting a top end rebuild and most of the work is now done. Im just chaseing down a new set of piston rings and the engine rebuild can be completed.
Anyhoo, the story go's, Had the head checked for warp and it was ever so slightly outta shape. Not enough to blow a head gasket so the engineer tells me. He still gave it a very slight skim to make it perfectly flat. Head got full reco and everything bar valve stem seals were all good.
The cylinders also seen a check over and a light re-hone and all was within spec there also. So now just got to find me a set of rings and away I go. I did toss up the idea of oversize but money placed a slow down on that idea.
Here is the cleaned and checked gear straight the shop.

Should be back on the road in a few more weeks yet. While Ive got it pulled down though, new water pump seal and some tidy up of the loom was done to.
