Never had any experience with a turbo 2 stroke, but I did build a supercharged one. was a 125 rotax disc valve engine. ran it a under 1 bar (about 12psi if memory serves)never had any crankcase sealing problems. It is actually quite successful for producing more power because it increases the kadenacy effect quite dramatically.Quote:

The original engine after blueprinting, porting and a custom exhaust produced 31bhp, with the supercharger it was producing 41bhp with a better spread of torque. remember this was a fairly primative motor without powervalves, digital ignition etc.
The downside was that the very low end power was abysmal, so much so that it would hardly run below 3000rpm, and the fuel consumption was horrific.
I would imagine that port timings would have to differ significantly from a NA motor to have the greatest benefit, also modern crank reed induction and powervalves would be beneficial.
