Project R1 - updated 20/10/11

Time to get a bit dirty today. Got the tyres removed off the wheels to try to clean them up a bit and make them look a bit more purdey and stuff

Got all the important stuff. Paint stripper, variety of wet/dry paper, Autosol polish and a few rags to use. Beer and music to help you through a mundane task.



Degreased and cleaned the wheels to start off

Ya never know travis. He got the bike to this point in like a day! Shouldnt take him too long to put it back I rekon!

They looks heaps better than my Ghey gold rims :(..

Plan is to be back on the road in 3 weeks. Fingers crossed

Started degreasing the engine today. Still a bit more to go though. The dirt and grease really gets stuck in there

Blasted the frame and swinger this morning as well in the little glass bead blaster at work. Also got the bearing removed from the swinger now :)

You got me all motivated to do my rear wheel (to match my gixxer front wheel that i polished before i put on the front end)

Got the rims done. All they need now is to get balanced so i can start putting the bike together. Polish the outside and repainted the centres matt black
