Bon Scott: 30 years of rocking in peace

yup mates todays 30 years since Bon Scott has passed away but still lives in his records, vids and our hearts

my mate had known that i was about to move to Oz, said: be sure and see Bon Scott's grave, aint it significant? hell, yeah, i will for sure, the only reason to visit Perth

though i heard that his son lives there, then to try to find him is another reason. anyone from Perth on here ever met the bloke? wonder what his all about, definitely not a rock'n'roll singer. would build a bike for him if he'd be feeling like bikes just to show a respect for his father

On valentines day i took the missus to freo for the day whilst there we did a bit of a acdc theme to it listening to acdc on the way down taking about the up and coming concert in perth and the tribute concert thats on tonight in freo , so we went for the 4th time to the cemetery to find the plaque of bons once there still had know idea where it was so google on the phone saved the day , the missus was happy and took some pics , then went down to the statue to have a gander , this made her day as she is a die hard fan

900 is an exaggeration , but i know that a lot have been stolen , people tried digging up the ashes but i dont think there there , half of them over your way and the rest here so its been said

That statue is cool but unless Bon was 12 years old when he died, i think it's a little small.

Bon did performed very real, lively, humorous, i'd say in the spirit of old days Oz, you know, when ringers had had no amusement back o'beyond they amused each other by themselves ;)

yup mate i just feel Bon's songs by guts, his voice and lirics its a shamanism, helped me many times to rise up from deep shit and to get back to the start, over and over again... the rest of the band matched him and each other just fantastic, brian johnson tried hard to correspond em but was just a pale reflection, imo

Hey Surt, have ya got to see an ACDC concert yet??? A few mates and I saw them a couple of months ago, and Fark Me, Incredible. The Back in Black tour IMHO was there best album, but i'm kinda addicted to the Dirty Deeds album at the minute too. Nothin like a bit of Squealer, and Ride On in the mornin to get me pumped for work.

yup i was on the monsters of rock festival back in 1991, the gig was called "rock on barricades" we had just thrown of commies then (no matter how funny that sounds - commies throw of commies [}:)]) that was fuckin epic, i just recently dl the vid of that concert and it was fucking awesome like goin 20 ys back of... so i aint young to admit it but i aint to old to die... hell im older than Bon was in that car [xx(]

and i have a few vids of Bon BEFORE ac/dc (and records too) they sound kinda funny, the hip sound :), but the bloody voice... [:p]

my 1st album was the Dirty Deeds back in mid 80s, i paid shitloads of money just for a studio mc copy, so later i gathered all wordlwide official releases (and sleeve inlays xeroxes with lirics to) and was very proud of meself... but then i occasionally heard the jailbreak from a radio out of someones open window [:0] while i was messing up with my damned 2stroke bwoike wtf that was Bons song but where from?! so i started asking and knew about australian releases, so i got australian tnt and high voltage, powerage, was hunting for the Crabsody in Blue for 15 years, just got it 5 s ago... thanking to i-net ;) so now i have more rarities than any average ac/dc fan in Oz or elsewhere! [^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^][^]

went down to the leopold hotel in bicton near freo there on sat night for hells bells tribute bands bon night fuckn good show , never seen so many mullets , skullets , and mutten dressed as lamb in one place , it was awesome
