As the title says. I think mine is fried. Won't rev past around 8K under load.
Can't post in the wanted area so posting here.
Took it out of the bike and discovered it was held together with electrical tape and silicone and full of dirt/dust. Might even had water in it at some stage.
Recoil in gelong fix em kev but they charge about $150 for potted units last time I asked.
or borrow one just to see if it is the cdi. Don't want to spend beer tokens if I don't need.
I have several circuits to make your own, and a few easy cheap diy setups using off the shelf bosch car units , but they wont help you as they're all "fixed timing" boxes that assume you have a centrifical advance on the pickup.
I looked for one I thought I had. Think it may have gone to dc racing..
I have about 5 slingshot / wc boxes if you change the rotor (I think I have one)?and pickups u could just retrofit to a slingshot unit
