Picked up my bike today after endless hours of searching, I picked it up for a song, GSXR1100W 91 mod,1127 motor, f!@#kn immaculate,
came with a paddock stand and ventura rack, Bloody Stoked, now i have to get the tools out and pick your brains.:D

No guys wont be chopping it up, im on the look out for another top yoke so i can put some risers and bars on, other than that everything will be able to be returned to original if and when they hit the same price as a z900. Other than that it might be a stupid question but i parked it in the garage when i got home, i thought i had turned off the fuel, went for an hours walk with the wife got home and there is fuel pissed out everywhere all over the floor, maybe half a litre even less,Theres reserve, on and pri, what the fuck is pri? is this the cause of fuel leakage coming out of the carbies? Laugh at me i dont care.

Prime? It may allow fuel to gravity feed, where "on" needs the vacuum to feed?

pri is prime the carb's mate..the fuel tap will by-pass the diaphram in the fuel tap and gravity feed your carb's....if you have left it on pri the carb's will be full of fuel and running out the over flow,it's only to prime the carb's when left for a long period of time ;)

even if the fuel tap was left on prime it shouldnt really pour fuel out your overflow pipes. You may have a needle and seat stuck open. Check and see if fuel is coming out of one of the small overflow rubber pipes and if so, follow the pipe back to the carby bowl and tap it with the wooden handle of a hammer or similiar and see if the flow stops. Also double check your oil level - you could possibly have fuel in the oil, unlikely though if the fuel is coming from your overflow pipe - more than likely a sticky needle and seat.

wen i picked up my bike the case was FULL of fuel , i had lots of probs with
the needles n seats not shutting off properly , after an hour pots 1 and 2
were chockers with fuel , turned out being rust n stuff in the tank so i put
a liner in it.

I need to take the tupperware off so i can have a good look.
