Now it may surprise a few people........... but I have decided to sell the bike on.
I`ve taken it to its furthest conclusion for a real world day to day road bike.
Got to be 100% honest with you, but my days of big speed are over.
I`ve done more numbers on the speedo than I would ever want to discuss other than amongst close bike mates (It was them that made me do it:D).
Sailed very close to the wind with my freedom at times. I`ve been taking the piss for a long time.
When I bought the Buell in 2007 it started a process of change in my head. The thought that I can have just as much fun at real world speeds. With the large amount of titanium I have inside of me, one minor "off" could see me bleed to death very fast. So I have other bikes to play with that are getting used like the Busa isnt. Bikes that are a little more sane. You need A LOT of mental focus, strength and aggression to ride the Busa properly. Its a state of mind and one I have moved away from.
Yep, I`m entering those twilight years of biking.... and I`ve even joined a bike club. ;)[8D] A good ride out club with some good bro`s and a lot of mutual respect.
The busa is a beautiful bike and I sit and look at it knowing my heart isnt in it anymore. That might sound crazy, but my time with balls out speed is over.
Riding a stock Busa or a piped and chipped Busa is quite a surprising experience for most 1st time Hayabusa riders.
But this bike in comparison is right out there in mad hatter territory ! My alter ego...... crazy and fucked in the head ;):D
Please will someone restore some slight normality in my life and take this bike away having placed some folding paper type money in my hands ? ;)[:o)]:)
It needs a good home.

Takes a big man to say it's time to slow down dude, will pass on the info to a fellow busa rider he isn't cashed up but would prob sell 3 or 4 toys (and his girlfriend) to play with that toy!

I assumed everyone knows I`m from England.
Its going on Ebay at some time.
In the UK people on the street don`t bother with loud piped bikes, because they are everywhere.
But the sound of this bike really turns heads amongst everyone, they wonder wtf is that ???
The sound of a blown bike is different.
The Yoshi is very loud, not bassey, just raw loud.
When the blower spins up it gets a high pitch turbine whine almost like a harsh buzz ?
Then the pressure regulator valve hisses loud after you`ve wind the throttle in hard and then ramp it off slowly.
Insane game on the motorway:
Whack it down the slip road hitting the fast lane in about 2 seconds flat.
Sit there and do an all round observation, if clear...
Wind the stearing damper up, cog it down 1 and wind the throttle fucking HARD !!!!!!
WARP DRIVE !!!! YEEEHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA !!!!!

I got smacked really hard in 2001 and nearly checked out twice on the same day, a lot of my serious injuries were never diagnosed, these injuries are for life and they deteriorate slowly and invasively. Its no fun when you live with pain 24/7 and it does`nt get better. Its a factor in what I ride and how much a bike demands of me physically and mentally. ;)
I`ve moved on from the balls out speed thing. Simples :)

Less than 2 year old Gen2 Busas are going for £6k.
Recession has hit the UK very hard my mate, thats why turbo bikes with much bigger spending arent selling for £9000.
I had to pitch it in at a realistic price knowing the market.
Anything is only worth what someone will pay for it?
I aint a standing still kinda guy and I have other plans.
Ask anyone who`s spent mega bucks on customising their bikes? You never ever get back anywhere near what you put into it, thats the way its always been. Even Harleys :D

love the bike mate, there a great bike. Power can be very addictive, first time I rode mine I thought it was insane but these days it gets a flogging with plenty of throttle

Guy from Nottingham on Tues last week wanted to bring down £7500 in cash early on thursday morning and pick the bike up.
OK sorted got the bike ready, thinking yeah thats cool.
After talking to this absolute cunt on the phone for hours he never showed up on thursday. Rang his Mrs at 12pm the day he was sposed to come and she say he`s gone to his cousins and they are going on holiday tomorrow. 100% plausible to total wanker in 24 hours.
Things are not going well with the current successful bidder.
Wants a test ride, the ad say "no test pilots".
He wants to test ride it out on the road with no tax, no MOT and his own 3rd party insurance... uh hu... yeah yeah... no test ride and he says he will not buy it.
Even if he puts the full amount in cash in my hand on approval and test rides it at his own risk. He could wreck the clutch and gearbox, bring it back and say no thats bolloxed mate give me my cash back.
I really aint that stoopid.

Bike aint taxed or MOT`d. Says no test pilots.
He reckons he can test ride it, then ride it 180 miles back home illegally, no problem.

Surt, the guy came today at 2pm and proceeded to mess me around for 2 hours trying to get the price down.

After shooting down his lame dick reasons for 2 hours to try and beat me down on his winning auction bid, he latched onto a slight split in the tail unit
plastics. So I had a spare tail unit in the shed which he didnt realise is scratched to hell. He was delighted and agreed to pay the full price he`d already bid.
To paint the other tail unit will cost him far more than repairing the slight split would have done.
End result he`s 100% lost my good feeling which mean she gets zero advise or help from me if he wants any. So hes fucked now.
BDODs ..........................but the bikes sold and thats what matters ;)

Had to go mate, big rapid dino powered bikes like that are allready extinct.
In 12 months it would be worthless.
Yamaha are soon to be pulling out of all petrol bike production and going into hybrids and alternative energy powered bikes.

They are switching to hybrids and other fueling for smaller capacity machines.
