Get ya minds outta the gutters, ya filthy buggers!!!

Went from Blaxland, up to Springwood Rd, followed it down to Richmond, had a feed and a few brews at Hog's Breath near the RAAF Base. Rode out to Sackville near the Ferry, then turned around and came back in time to pick the boys up from school.

All in all a brilliant day, and a great ride, some real nice twisties along springwood road. Most of the roads out that way are in pretty good to great condition.

Anyways, I know no-one will believe me if there's no pics, so here ya's go... enjoy...

the view from the look out on Springwood Rd.

I'm at Blaxland Gix. Blue Mountains, NSW... Lovely place to own a bike. (though, I can't imagine living anywhere I wouldn't want to own a bike.)
Here's a link to exactly where the pics were taken...

My wife thought I was referring to the 'special' kids at my boys school!!! [:o)]

holyman_999

Not Mitchells pass dude... this is further up the mountains on the road between Springwood and Richmond...

I live 30 seconds away from mitchells pass... used to get to ride down it everyday for work. but it's been closed for the last 2 months. think it had a washout or rockslide. might try getting the bike down anyways... could be fun!!!

Love that area.. grew up in hazelbrook, hoping to move up to leura by the end of this year.. no idea why more riders don't go up the mountains.. rather than doing the nasho park over and over. Cooler air, less cars, and the cops usually only pull you over to perve on your bike. :D

I lived at Maroota (near Wisemans Ferry) for years until I recently moved up the coast.
My mate used to live up at Yellow Rock and I used to ride up through Yarramundi all the time - great road. If you've got your mojo working you can scrape the pipes through those hairpins. Sure gets the heart going. :D

haha! good times to be had, I'm sure!!![8D]

and devo, I grew up in The Druitt! but don't tell anyone;)

the old saying is definitely true, "you can take the boy outta the druitt, but you can't take the druitt outta the boy!"

Next time you're up this way, gimme a yell, work permitting we'll go for a cruise and maybe a brew or two... :D

A non-drinker, and from Blackett... sounds like you're a smart man... especially when the local is The Clock!!!

I'm a Whalan boy, so I had the classy "Mt Druitt Workers Club" to drink at, LOL...

Seems softdrink is the way to go, but I'll have a Coke Zero, as I'm trying not to be such a fat bastard...

That explains the Bogan bit then doesn't it.

Is it hard to ride in ugh boots, a flannie, black jeans and lumberjack jacket??

All that's the easy part... but try and find a helmet that doesn't mess up the MULLET!!! [:p]

And a riding jacket with a slot on the shoulder for the winnie blues!
