How are ya all, Another Irishman just cruzing the net looking for a few ideas for my new 900rr fighter. Livin in San Francisco in the USA, There are no fuckin decent fighters over here, the only decent ones over here hanging around are built by the Brits and Paddies,
Heres my current bike,

Started out as a Cbr 600 F2,Now the only thing left of the F2 is the front half of the frame and the Gas Tank..

SPEC:
Cbr 900 motor bored out to 975cc (JE pistons)
Gas flowed and ported head,
Krane Cams,
41mm Keihin Flatslides with K&N pods.
Lightened and polished rods and crank.
Beefed up Clutch.
Two bros Pipe modded.

Complete R6 tailpiece with Texas under tray.
Corbin seats.

Rear swingarm is a NT650 arm,
VFR 750 hub and rotor and brake caliper.
VFR 800 Wheel with 190/55 Bridgestone 010.
Ohlins shock with heavier spring.
Ducati 996 hugger.

Front forks are from a Cbr 929 with LSL risers
Sent them to England to get them extended 1 1/2 inches to keep the rake/trail/ ride height the same. Inards are

completely revalved/resprung for the motor/frame setup.
Carbon fiber front Fender.
R1 master cylinder with Goodridge hoses.
LSL triple clamps.
Bridgestone 120/55 010.

Vortex rearsets,
All nuts and bolts/bearings are replaced.
Tons of other bits and pieces that dont come to mind
and two years of cussing and swearing at it.
99% work by ME

criticism/ideas/opinions greatly appreciated..

Thanks.

Thanks for the replys, Its about to go under the mallet, I am starting to build a 900rr and I am going to use this motor as it a screamer,
The problem with this bike is it handles like shit, The frame isnt up to the 155bhp the 900rr mill is putting out.
So basically I have a 900rr frame, Vfr 750 swinger, 954 front end and a load of other goodies gathered up...
I reckon most of this will end up on Ebay or some where like that..

i bet if you raise the forks in the clamps and put clip-ons below the clamp it would handle good!. what seems to be the problem? just flexy or all out crap?

I reckon the finished look is great. The frame does look a bit slight for that kind of power though. Time for the upgrade as you said. Nice one Tacky.

Thanks lads.. Its just an all out pig on the road, I made one major mistake building it and it was using the NT650 swingarm, The reason I used it is it is shorter and has a nicer look that the Vfr arm, It never worked properly, We tried different shocks and linkages and shock mounts and it never worked, Its at it's best at the moment with the Ohlins in there,
IF you power through a corner it just gets nasty, I dont think the frame is good enough for the motor,
I dunno.... I just dont trust the biatch, You know what I mean!!!!

yeah, single siders load the frame very weird and since your pushing some serious power i dont doubt the problems. ever thought about just a conventional swinger?
