I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they did it for he same reasons we do....

Just like the way some people take a perfectly good motorcycle and fit headlights that barely light up the mudguard, smaller tanks with less range,remove any way of carrying a swag etc....

as for the comparison to bike modding it would be like getting a gp bikes engine and sticking it in a harley chassis ...turboing a gs500 makes it better which is the key.

i can admire the engineering side of it and all that goes with it but why wreck a perfectly good lambo?
i thought the idea of modifications are usually to improve performance or looks, yeah sure this has improved the stang somewhat but killed a lambo.
i would drive it minus the lambo steering wheel and interior bits and that ugly as fuck rear end.
