KX 250 .......No spark

Do any of youse geniuses know anything about 2006ish KX250 ignitions???:D
No spark, I've checked the kill switch, the coil, coil lead, ,plug cap, and spark plug,cleaned the mounting points on the coil, moved the signal generator coil closer to the rotor, checked/metered all wires, all good, but still no spark.
There's no battery in this bike. Are they prone to failures at the igniter, or the stator??

i would be guessing stator mate from my experience with current smokers or are you talking about a kxf250

See if you can get an original kawasaki manual. They are very detailed.
