I'm after 2 adjustable rod set ups as below. Preferably st/st thread with aluminium fittings. The local shops are great for tractors( and I mean tractors,...not harleys) but nothing this small.

Oz, Theres loads of rose joints on ebay in various sizes...but no reverse threaded rod.
I might have found some end fittings from a R/C car...now to find a left hand thread die..[}:)]

i ordered reverse threaded ones through bearing traders in newy for my subframe uprights

only a M4 thread shouldnt cost much, but expect the LH thread ones to be about twice the RH ones
if u can get some 12mm stainless hex-bar then u can spanner it ;)

whats she for?
those poor little rods wont like too much bending at full extension [XX(]

Thanks Fimp. They're for the screen I'm fitting above the h/light. It needs some support and I thought why not make it adjustable. That way I can get the angle just right to deflect the wind at speed.

I would have thought that a good bearing shop would have had some rod ends that would suit, looks a lot like a Katana gear change linkage though.

Farrrk... $26.... think I'd be casing the wreckers for linkages with rod-ends... keeping my spares hidden..

Have you tried asking a wrecker.[:0].....Trouble is the swivel end is usually a rivet on type.
