Cool. What the hell is it with VFR's recently? They seem to be the new "TLR". Keep us updated with progress photos of it.

lol.. i donno.. this one was pretty cheap.. and love the single sided swing arm that they come with... yet still sporty enough.. mmmmm i like it..

any way quick question to any one reading this but does the bike by law need a seat cowl, e.g. just have a seat on the frame with the tail lights and what not behind it e.g.

nah sorry mate, just fightering the vfr,the gixr is staying as is for now, mayb do some mods later on but its brilliant as is

No dramas :( i got a K1 750 and it's a great thing- it's a fighter but i want to convert it back to a sports bike that was why i asked.

long time no progress.. or spoke, I've been rather busy with moving and other stuff.. anyhow, i have managed to pull the motor out of the frame what not, just trying to get a rolling frame/ design together... tell me what you think, the colour them I'm going for is gun metal grey and something like eletric green or bright green.. not sure but yeah will see how it goes... any how here is the progress so far... will try to speed up the progress time will tell.

I do have a question how would you recommend to clean the engine, i was thinking easy off engine cleaner

I swear that is my old Gixxer 750!!
Sold it back in 08....
Was the only Gixxer in that yellow and black that I have ever seen. Only had 1 oggy nob, but had a different pipe, indicators, and no hugger. Even has the same tyres I sold mine on.... Weird.... I wonder if it is.

I brought it off a bloke locally that had brought it off ebay from Sydney, I then sold it on ebay to a bloke from Melbourne, then I don't know what happened to it...
The give away would be that it had goodridge branded front discs and goodridge braided yellow lines...
What do u recon?

i bought it off a guy in sydney but it had vic rego... lol... never know hey.. wouldn't have been hard to add the breacks and lines.... but the back wheel on yours isn't painted black that would be my thoughts on it not being the same one.. but who knows... is there an indent on the side of the front of the frame on yours....

Vic rego FU499? And yes it did have a dint in the frame, RHS (pipe side of the bike) I recon the rear wheel has been painted by the looks of your pics...

yeah still runs... out of commission at the moment though... the plastics cracked... getting the same theme though

yeah in the wet, and dark, got blinded by someone not knowing how to switch there high beams off..... um think its about 90960 or something.. but yeah still goes strong.... start it and what not to keep it running until I can get the plastics..
