Good stuff Fimp I am on to a supplier of 1mm sheet out in Maitland but I will Check around for price, approx $125 for 1m2 but I guess thats a lot of gaskets.
If you come up with a source let us know.

its friggin expensive stuff!!!
we were getting busbar and cable stolen a few months back

professional job too, stripping BIG cables into ute-length pieces and taking LOTS in one night
musta been in league with the recyclers to get rid of that much stolen copper too, fuckers....

only spot id be worried about is around the cam chain. there isnt much meat in the corners and there arent any bolt holes there. Is that what the old gasket looked like?

hmm, come to think of it i think there are meant to be a 7mm hole at each end
