Belted by hail

...and it hurts like fuck! on my way back from Northlands (fully sik) got caught in that massive storm. The hail was the size of marbles and I left home only in a Tshirt - Hmmmmm, wont be doing that again, although when I left home, it was blue sky! Gotta love Melbourne!

I was in Ferntree Gully and my car looks like a golf ball

Fuck yeah, Upper ferntree gully got hit with some big fucking hail, 100mm pieces apparently! Tooki a drive through on the way home and the place is pretty messed up. Got some pics on my phone of an Alfa with 8 holes punched through the laminated rear screen, some almost big enough to fit your head through. Trees shredded, houses damaged and the roads are flooded. There are a few car yards in Uftg that may be selling some cheap cars next week.

Rode home from work in it. Hail pics taken on William st in the city, flood pics taken around the corner from the casino. By the way the two lower levels of the clarindin st casino car park were completely flooded approximately 250 cars fooked.

You're right bluemk1, everyone decides for themselves their own level of risk, I'm guilty myself. However, if I'd come off in only a Tshirt, I'd expect a caning from the group too.

The advice is well intended and heart felt . This is why I'm saving up for a fullface asap, scotty and I had a good chat a while ago about my openface and I understand the dangers.
