Does anyone know where I can get a set of these from in Aus? I can make some but it would be easier to buy them if I can and would save me having to drill the triple clamp. They just go on in place of the clip ons.

I was thinking that they are more likely a replacement for the clip ons :) I guess I should just suck it up and start drilling some holes in my triple clamp and fit up the renthals I have sitting here at home.

I think you're right nelpd96, those would prob just replace your clip-ons. They're not there for any kind of support.

You dont need to buy these,
they are piss easy to make.

Did this years a go, I think it was using FJ12 forks
on a mates bike. Just went around all the wreckers untill
I found a top Yolk (with clamps) that had the same diameter forks.
I think I used something like a DT125LC top yolk.
Just cut the middle out (just inside both clamps)
and polished it up.
Binned the factory clip-on's and fitted these above the stock top clamp.

Looked like the picture above,
Cost 10 Pounds / $25
