Who's keen to ride or drive down to the AFR as a group?
I was thinking of meeting at Pheasants Nest (Mobil) at 0730 for an 0800 departure.
Anyone interested?

I'l be riding there, but leaving from the south coast. Up the clyde n into queenbyan! U fuckers wanna meet in there for the final leg to Jindy?

Hey how about the Maccas on the corner of Narellan rd & Camden Valley way, more or less have to pass that way for most Sydney siders.
What's the go with a place kip down for the duration ?

I'll be coming from Wollongong so Pheasants Nest is best for me. Plus you can get fuel with your bacon and egg rolls ;)

FYI.....if anyone comes through Canberra try to avoid hitting it between 8-9am.....it will take you 40 mins to get past the airport. Its a cluster fuck at the moment.
Turn of at Sutton rd and go through struggle town...i mean Qbn.
just out of curiosity, has anyone got a route planned from phesants nest to jindy or are we just gonna wing it

My consolation is I am currently in Tassie for 2 weeks. They have taken all the best roads and dumped them on this little chunk of land, told the coppers to piss off and even brought the sun out. Shredded my tyres already and I have 9 days to go

I thought we would meet at the Mobil at pheasants nest then head to Queenbyan pick up Lance and any other ACT lads who want to join us at the Caltex. Then head straight to Jindabyne from there.

Guys, what sort of time frame will we have to leave Jimmy's place to be meeting you lot at 8am at Pheasants nest? Im guessing its going to be a very very early one..
Vehicle of choice for the crew will be a Patrol so no giving me a time you would expect a GSXR1K to make lol...

The pheasants Nest Mobil is on the hume highway (South Western Fwy) approximately 36 km south of the Campbelltown exit. We use this spot as it is easy to find and convienient for people coming from New Castle, Woolongong and Sydney. It is the first servo heading south from Sydney. There is no Mcdonalds, however; they sell premium unleaded and Bacon and egg rolls.
Jake I'm unsure how long it'll take from Jim's place, but I know you can bypass Sydney all together by taking the M2 then the M7 just follow the green signs for Canberra.

if anyone is leaving up newcastle way we (swordsy & i in my ute) will be going past the end of the freeway at beresfield at 4:45am or so
we'll be looking forward to a nanna nap once we get there LOL

The exact address is the corner of Sheppard ST and Monaro HWY Hume 2620.
It is a Coles Express Caltex.
Basically its the first servo on your left once you hit the monaro highway.
