High output race battery.

The Gen 1 Busa is known for killing batteries and tbh the stock battery tray size is tiny for such a lump of lard :)

So I went and got one of these today [:p]

2 to 3 times the starting power of an OE battery. [8D]

What are the dimensions mate? The battery I have at the minute is just too big for where I want to put it..

The PC310 which that is, measures 138mm long x 86mm wide x 101mm tall.

Good robust piece of kit apparently.
The race shop I went to said The Odessys is what a lot of racers are using.

Although this is a UK site, its very useful for getting the right bike battery ;)......

One of my Busa's had a H*nda battery.
Either an ST11 or ST1300 ? Can't remember.
Same width and length, just a bit taller
(snug, but it fitted)
Higher output.

Thats fukken sound evad ;)

As long as you don`t invert them they are fine according to
the manufacturer.

I had to fit some brass pillars to the terminals and stretch the
battery connections to reach further over. The new terminals
are about an inch further away. Just finished the install
this hour, job done.

Yep a few UK Busa riders told me to get a particular H*nd* battery,
I did have the reference code somewhere, but I didnt want to soil the Busa :D
Anyway I`m pleased with the 2 to 3 times more starting power, especially as its cranking the blower too. :)
