Hi all I have just asked stuart where the funeral may be and that maybe if gix can use his contacts over there get some flowers sent from us to them I don't know where to start but if some one like gix or can organise it (if you can Mate ) I'll start with a fiver into what ever account to get some nice flowers for stu's mum so she can have a peaceful final journey.

Any takers or not.

Hi devo
I just found this thread have not received any emails yet ?.
Anyway the funeral is being handled by the co-operative funeral directors 181 Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, Hampshire England PO6 4HG

My mum's name is Thelma Potter the funeral is not until the 19-01-07 which is a bit of a way off but it is the earliest my brother can get back here from Adelaide.

You guys are ace.
If you want to send flowers please send them to the funeral directors mentioned above or if you prefer to make a donation please make a donation to any recognised cancer care/treatment organisation in Australia

Thanks

Stuart

I don't have a credit card so this rules me out so if some one will get the flowers and get them sent off to the following address
and my money as will everyone elses will go into that persons account
sorry guys not allowed to have a credit card my mrs knows what i would spend it on:( the address is:
The co-operative funeral directors 181 Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, Hampshire England PO6 4HG
Let us know who is doing it and send us bank details and it is as good as done what do you guys think.

I have received a $10 donation from Rocket towards the flowers so far, so all you others that don't have credit cards send it to the normal ASF account that you have used before BUT PLEASE - MARK IT "FLOWERS + YOUR USERNAME"! or I'll be all sorts of confused! We have a day in hand over England and also it's not until the 19th, so if all that would like to put into the flowers could please do so by 16th January I will have chance to sort the flowers/card/delivery. Cheers guys.

I will put the details in the members area for those that have lost it.

What ever you guys decide to do is very much appreciated and very heart felt.
With all the piss taking and winding up that goes on in this site and it is also what makes this site It feels as if i have made some good friends even though i have not met any of you yet.

Look forward to meeting as many of you as possible when I arrive in a few months time and sink some large amounts of beer or at least try.

Alf

Ok. As of 4:17pm today I have $50 from members and I will put in another $20 so we have $70. Is anyone else planning to put any donations in (I notice you said you'd like to be in Shayne, Russ, Jim and Paul) as today is the last day. I will try and get something sorted tomorrow.

Hope they got there ok. Judging by my time conversion the day is just starting over there and I'm sure Stu will not be checking in here today. Let's hope it's not too hard a day for him.

Thanks very much guys.
The funeral went very well. It was a non religious funeral. It was a celebration of her life.

Now it is all over with and i have my memories it's time to move on with my move to Auss and get things sorted that have been put on hold for a while.

So see you soon

Stu
