Why the hell do people say "No Reserve" when they put the starting bid well into the thousands?

Yeah that's my mates bike - didn't know he'd chucked it up for sale yet.. Great bloke and suspect it's the first ebay sale he's done. ;)

The bikes an absolute animal though and can vouch for the money he's spent on it!!

It's actually my house mate's bike, I think he's being totally honest listing all the minor faults that neeed addressing. I can vouch that he has spent a lot of cash getting this bike to its current standard. If anyone is keen to buy it I'm happy to bring the bike on wednesday's ride for you to check it out. And yeah Chase is on the money when he says Tim will never make a salesman.
