Hey guys, Looking at buying a set of boots and don't like the look of the racer style. I found these on a web site:-

click on picture for more pics.

They look impressive! What do you think? Any other options or advice on brands etc?

looks like about $200-00AUD delivered as they aren't available here..yet.

Don't know if I'd like doing laces, then zip, then clips but if they save your feet/ankles who cares.

Have you got a snow board?

Yeah, that's a good call. SNOW BOOTS. Ha ha. They are a bit bulky but what else is there? I dont want an AXO Rossi replica and I've seen the good old Blundstones been thrown off a crashing rider. Also for the local drags you have to have boots that go over the ankles!

Whats everybody else using "Streetfighter Style"?

team homo dealers have boots for $100 that they call streetfighters. they are like a cross between basketball hi tops and work boots and use laces and one of those clips. dont look too bad but not sure of how they would hold up. give them a call or email and im sure they can give you details on them

If you don't want all the clips amd shit, try finding a pair of waterproofs, sort of like these

Hey Fiend,

I used to work at the helmet warehouse in Yagoona (syd) and we stocked the M2R Streetfighter boots, just be careful that the clip is ok if use choose to go with them.

I tried a pair on and they seemed cheap and nasty, the clip kept coming undone. Some were better than others tho.

Just a thought.

try new rocks
not really bike botts but if you manage to rip some of those boots off in a crash then your doing rather well

RM Williams square toed, cuban heeled boots mate.

Once described as 'head-kicker' boots by one of the other members here.

And they work real well :D
