After reading a heap of questions about what types of foams to use for fibre glassing i've done some research and found the following (my bad if it's a repost):

There are 3 grades of Polystyrene which are all graded on density
*SL -which is the most common
*M - fairly common and can be used for shaping/carving ($220/m3)
*H - not as common and not stocked on the shelf

Another Product I've found is ISOBOARD which is a closed cell structure which allows it to be finely molded and sanded. This comes in sheets 2500 x 600mm and in thicknesses of 30mm, 50mm, 75mm & 100mm.

This mob sells ISOBOARD out of WA but I'm sure there are a heap more who sell the product.

These are only my findings feel free to correct me if I've fucked up somewhere. Hope this helps in some way.
